ADHD - Unstoppable - Jim Livingstone

Hello, and Welcome
![]() | G’day, I struggled with undiagnosed ADHD for forty-six years, feeling like I didn't fit in anywhere. Since my ADHD diagnosis, I have spent the past twenty-six years reading, researching and testing every aspect of adult ADHD with the desire to become the very best version of myself. Here are a few things I’ve learned along the way…. |
ADHD - Unstoppable
How to develop the habits and mindset to be unstoppable.
It starts with first taking full responsibility for where you are in your life now. No excuses or blame for your ADHD challenges. Become the designer of your life, knowing the only limits are the ones you place on yourself.
Start each day with an optimistic outlook, and understand your thoughts and beliefs shape your reality. Seek out positive people, information and events.
Stay away from negative thoughts, people and environments.
Develop resilience, the ability to bounce back from adversity and perceived failures or setbacks.
Constantly seek new skills and knowledge to help you achieve your dreams and goals.
Master the art of self-control. Accept short-term sacrifices for greater long-term success.
Develop emotional intelligence to understand and control your feelings.
A willingness to take action towards your goals without a guaranteed result.
Discomfort is temporary; do the work.
Focus on creative solutions, not problems.
Commit to your personal growth and be a lifetime learner.
Choices have consequences, take full responsibility for your actions and choices.
Say NO to distractions.
Aim to make a positive impact on the world.
Commit to self-care and make time for relaxation and recreation.
Accept uncertainty as a natural part of life.
Swap your EGO for your Higher Self.
Align your life with your sense of purpose, values and meaning.
Build and cultivate strong relationships with your neurodivergent and neurotypical tribes.
Improve your ability to prioritise and select intentional focus.
Continually lift your standards.
Lead with deeds, not words.
Choose to be happy, irrespective of your current circumstances.
Leave a legacy and have a positive impact on current and future generations.
Never give up on yourself.
Believe and allow yourself to be successful.
Above all, embrace the process and enjoy the adventure.
True happiness and success are about YOUR journey.
START SMALL, pick a couple of ideas or habits that will make the biggest positive impact in your life and trust the Universe has your back!
